OAKLAND, Iowa — Two individuals are dead after a transport fire was accounted for Tuesday morning only east of Oakland, Iowa.

The Riverside Community School transport was found close on fire close 1480th Street and Elmtree Road around 7 a.m.

The underlying call showed 20 understudies were on the transport. Resulting calls showed maybe a couple people did not make it off the transport, said Pottawattamie County Chief Deputy Sheriff John Reynolds.

Firefighters found the transport inundated on fire when they arrived. Once the fire was contained, the remaining parts of two individuals were found on the transport, Reynolds said.

Ad :Authorities said there possibly have been at least one people that did not influence it to out of the transport.

Representatives from the Sheriff's Office and firefighters from Oakland and Carson observed the transport to be totally overwhelmed on fire.

Once the fire was contained, the remaining parts of two people were found on the transport.

This fire is under scrutiny.
